Hi, I'm Dave Pundit. Many people think that the Champions League is the biggest trophy in world football. Those people are foreign. Other countries don't have such glorious competitions as the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Carling Cup.
I was actually offered tickets for the final but I didn't fancy it. I've been to Rome before it was awful, you couldn't get a good meal anywhere. I went to a restaurant and ordered a pizza and it was all thin and crunchy. Why do foreigners have to try and mess around with good old British food?
I've also heard that there is a ban on alcohol before the game. What a ludicrous rule that is. Quite frankly it was bad enough trying to play football sober without having to watch it without booze too.
Anyway as for the game itself I can't see anything other than a resounding victory for Man Utd. Barcelona have less English players than Arsenal. Where's the grit? Where's the determination? Where's the bulldog spirit? Wayne Rooney has the bulldog spirit. He even looks like a bulldog. None of the Barcelona team look like dogs. Not even poodles.
There is also the chance that Thierry Henry won't be able to play for Barcelona. Not that he'd make much difference. If he was good enough to play in England he'd have moved to an English club by now. But he hasn't which speaks volumes to me.
Verdict Man Utd 4 - Barcelona 1.

But Dave surely typical English names like Henry, Messy and Sylvinho have got to be a factor towards Barcelona's win! United's English contingent has names like Rooney, O'Shea and Vidic, which isnt nearly enough. Ferdinand reminds me of Franz Ferdinand who are rubbish, Carrick sounds like a rugby player and Ronaldo sounds mildly Portugese!!
